OverDrive for Kindle E-readers (Keyboard)

kindleOverview

The Kindle E-reader (Keyboard version in the library) is a black and white (e-ink) e-reader, and its main function is to read e-books.  It does have an “experimental” web browser, but the browsing experience is slow and limited.  Apps cannot be used with this device, and while it has a speaker, it is used exclusively for text-to-speech and voice guide (accessibility options).  When using a Kindle Keyboard with OverDrive, searching and downloading are completed from a computer, and Amazon credentials are used in lieu of an Adobe ID.  See the card in the device bag for Amazon credentials associated with this device.
